I stayed at The Cliff House Hotel last year and loved it. It is considered by many to be one of the best hotels in Ireland and I couldn't agree more. This five-star boutique hotel is set on a cliff overlooking the beach in the small fishing village of Ardmore. I think it's the ultimate romantic getaway. My advice would be to go kayaking in the Irish Sea before trying the delicious food on offer at the hotel.

Despite the cold November breeze, I do not miss the opportunity to walk along its golden sandy beach. Ballycastle is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Causeway Coast. We stayed in this charming seaside town a few years ago and loved it. The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Dunluce Castle are a short drive away, and the town also offers some great dining options. The eco-friendly Salthouse Hotel offers magnificent sea views; however, unlike other beach hotels in Ireland I have chosen, the Salthouse hotel is a 20 minute walk from Ballycastle beach.
